Frequently asked questions
- Is this an official Dave’s Hot Chicken calculator?
- No. Hot Chicken Nutrition is an independent website not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Dave’s Hot Chicken. Data comes from their publicly available nutritional guide PDF.
- Does spice level affect calories?
- Yes, for most meal items. Mild to Reaper variants typically have slightly more calories and fat than Not Hot / Lite Mild. The calculator shows both so you can compare.
- Are Feed A Crowd values for one person?
- No. Hot Box items are sharing portions for 5–10 people. The calculator flags these with a warning when added to your meal.
- Why is sodium not shown?
- The source PDF uses UK/EU labelling which lists salt (NaCl) rather than sodium. Converting is an approximation so sodium is not displayed to avoid misleading values.
